Need your thoughts...missed 2 pills.

Ok, so....I am on a generic orthotricyclen (sp?) b/c pill. I missed my 14th and 15th pill back to back but did not realize it before having sex 2-3 times with my bf without protection or the withdraw method. I was supposed to start my period on the last row of "placebo" pills on Tuesday. I spotted brown for maybe four hours that day. Wednesday I wore a tampon and it had barely any blood on it, again, mostly brown. Today, I wore a panty liner which had some brown and a very little bit of bright blood. I normally go through 4 tampons a day on my periods, usually not making it to the bathroom before I bleed through. I took a test (or 4) and they all look negative.

I never had implantation bleeding or anything with my previous LOs...any ideas or thoughts as to what the heck is going on?? TIA ladies.

Take a test.

And just because my mouth controls me....

I assume you're an RN by your name, you should know better than anyone, how this works.

Yes, I'm a home health nurse. I studied very little regarding reproductive studies and all of my tests that I mentioned in the first post were negative....

Then you're not pregnant.

Could I possibly be having implantation bleeding? Would it be too early to test positive? I was 17 days late before I got a + with my daughter and my period this month is hardly a period. More like discharge. Which makes me wonder what the hell is going on, but thanks for your input.

Doubtful. Implantation bleeding happens in less than 30% of pregnancies and you would get a positive by the time you implanted. It's also maybe a quarter sized amount of blood.

I had implantation bleeding with my daughter long before my period was due. I got it like a week after conception. And it was for about 2 days, very odd. I would test in a week or so if you still haven't gotten a full on period. You know your body best. So just try and be your best judge, good luck!

Yeah I saw a chart today that said I would have implanted on the 19th if I got pregnant on the days that I missed the pills. I just so happened to start spotting on the 19th. This is definitely not a period....I just don't know what it is. I've been on this pill for quite some time and my AF is 3-4 maybe 5 days of pretty moderate flow...not this one panty liner a day thing. Thanks for your input!

Lol well hey it just might be implantation! I tested a week after my period was due so a week late. And that's when I got my BFP! So you never know. And if you've been on this pill for a whole and know exactly how your periods are then yes you'll definitely know when something different is going on!   no problem if I can help I will always try!!
