But, people can skirt around the rules. How would you word this rule? How would you determine that bannable line?

In extreme cases. There was a mother on here who didn't feed her children the most healthy of food and she was asking for HELP and needed ideas what/how to change what food to give etc...some mom on here went on and on calling her every name in the book saying she is an effed up fat mother who deserves to die for....feeding her kids hot dogs. No joke. It went on for pages.

I think that would be watched anyway? Those posts go to TDC and moderators look at that stuff.

There are bitches if you look in the right spots...but a lot of them are a bit fruit cakey to me.

It is a public forum though and there will always be that element of freedom of speech. I think she would have had posting privates or something suspended. And I'm sure if it was that bad bg would have banned her. And by the time she gets banned the op had already read the post and the banned member can always create a new profile..

Maybe she was, Idk. All the other mamas jumped on her for what she was saying.
Anyway OP, if there was to be a ban, that would be what I'd think would be acceptable.

Exactly.

I am quite certain bg already has measures in place to deal with bullying but if it was advertised all over then people would deliberately do it to get banned or would try to always reinterpret rules to get members banned because they don't like a response...

she has already said many, many times. She won't ban people for being smurfs.

It would. And then you will have a set few you won't follow rules.
I look at it this way....it is a public forum. People are going to criticise others, as everyone has their own way of parenting. Harsh words are going to get thrown around. Can you stop it as a whole? No. But you can ignore that person and so on. I think that if the criticising and harsh comments turn into private messages etc....then something needs to be done.
