Lump in right breast.

I'm still Breastfeeding my 2.5 year old and this morning I woke up with a decent lump in my right breast, it doesn't really feel sore and I'm not sure if its a clogged duct. I've put LO on the breast to try and drain the lump but it didnt go anywhere.

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and wondering if pregnancy is maybe causing a change in my breast tissue again.

Do you think this warrants a trip to the doctors?

I think an unknown lump that won't go away always warrants at least a check up by a medical professional.

I would get it checked out...in the meantime, though, try putting warm packs on it prior to feedings and massing it while LO is nursing. If it is a clogged duct, that might help clear it up.

absolutely have it checked out, but don't stress over it in the meantime. It could be anything. I had one and had an ultrasound etc done and it was just my normal breast tissue being lumpy. lol

Get it checked, but don't stress. Most cancerous lumps feel like little bitty BB's and don't move at all. Seeing as though you're BFing, pregnant, and it's a pretty good size, it's probably a hormonal thing or a milk duct. But DO get it checked.

I've had clogged ducts and mastitis before so I know what to look out for, but this somehow feels different.

If I can't get an appt today (Friday) I'm going to have to wait until Monday.
