has anyone used ABC Mouse?

posted 21st Feb
my husband and i hought we would give it a try. i think its only $5 a month and you can have 1 account for three kids. it helps with talking, abcs, reading, math, hand eye cordination. its got puzzles, games, books, songs. its great. its for kids 2years-1st grade i think? my son sees a speech therapist. in may when he turns 3 she wont be coming by anymore he will be too old. this is helping him as much as she is (he repeats words and is learning how to put sentences together!!!) anyway i was wondering if anyone has tried it or heard of it, and i wanted to tell you about it   we dont use it to the point he is on there all day, he is on it an hour a day, two at very most and its helped him out this much. if you want to check it out i believe the website is abcmouse.com

my husband started it up so i didnt see the startup, but thats close. and even better. my son also loves it. we try to only let him use it an hour a day, but sometimes with both dh and i being in school and doing homework on laptops, he wants to be on his computer. lol.

My son does it on and off everyday a total of 1 hour, if it was on his galaxy hed be on it more often. too bad it isnt compatible to ipods or tablets.

I signed Alyssa up for it. But later cancelled the membership.

She doesn't pay attention when she is on the website. Even though at the beginning it teaches the child how to properly use a mouse she never paid attention, and would just randomly click.

So I told her that she needs to learn how to listen and pay attention to what is going on before I let her back on the site. If anyone can give me learning exercises I can do with her to help her to pay better attention instead of her just assuming she knows what she is doing I would really appreciate it.
