Any BG mama's stationed there? We are pcsing there in June. What's it like? Do you enjoy being stationed there?

We are coming from Fort Irwin, so any post will be better than this one lol!

Yikes! We will be living off post too because we have 5 dogs. I don't think any place will be more sketchy than where we live now. Barstow is the biggest smurfhole filled with addicts and its the closest city to fort irwin and it's still 45 min from post. We are out in the middle of the desert lol I'm looking forward to living close to post. What is post like? Big? Fort irwin is soooo small

Have you already picked out a place? I've been here my whole life so I can out line the good places and the heck no places for you lol.

Post is pretty big, and you can always go on Pope AFB too. I live about 5-10 minutes from the gate and we are in a pretty good area. I'm not afraid to be home alone or with my son.

No we just found out today what are options were for new duty stations because my husband is reenlisting and we chose fort bragg, his report date is in July so we are moving in June. I would really appreciate that though! It'd be good to have a heads up on where the good neighborhoods are!
