I'm overdue?

When I found out I was pregnant, my first OB said that I was due February 25th, then he said February 19th. My current OB says that I am due February 23rd (this Saturday.) I've been going on my February 19th due date, but my question is how long will my OB wait before including me? I don't want to go to 42+ weeks at all!

Most OB's won't let you go past 42 weeks. A lot won't even let you go past 41 weeks. The only way to know for sure is to ask. I'm sure you should have another appointment coming up soon. Express your concerns and I'm sure they will have an answer for you.  

Why do people so quickly jump to induction? Just wait until your body is ready and let it do what it is meant to do

I want him to be healthy. I don't know if going past 42 weeks would be healthy, I'm asking my doctor later.

Pretty much . Induction aint no joke.

You won't go to 42 weeks. You'll get a stress test at 40 weeks.. Then a couple days later they might induce you if you haven't already gone into labor on your own . He can't stay in there forever.

My dr wasn't going to let me go over 41 weeks. I ended up getting induced 4 days past my DD due to low fluids and his size. He was almost nine pounds! Lol. But he came out perfectly healthy. My induction went GREAT! btw. I'd do it again, no problem.

Not necessarily. With my first, they didn't do a stress test. They just flat out told me that I would be induced before 41 weeks.

I wouldn't say I was lucky. If it was up to me, I would have rather gone into labor on my own.
