Tanning.

It's been about 3 years since I've got in a tanning bed. I tan very easy during the summer time so there is really no need for it but I'm getting married April 6 th so I plan on going tanning Saturday. I remember the first time I got in a tanning bed I only stayed in it for 10 minutes and I burned pretty bad for a while. I've been laying out in the sun on nice days for the past 2 weeks just so I don't burn too bad. I was wondering how long should I wait after Saturday to go back again? The wedding is close. I have about 5 weeks until the wedding, getting anxious.

I'd wait 2-3 days. And then go evey other day after you have a base tan

The first time you should only go for 5-7 minutes and then increase by 2 mins everytime. You wont notice you have a burn until after you are already burnt and you continue to tan for a few hours after tanning. I also agree that you should go every other day to keep base tan at first. After you get to color you like, I would decrease to twice or even once a week to go tanning if you can and still keep your tan or at least decrease it a little.

Ten minutes for your first time? Yikes! I'm fairly dark skinned and the first time I tanned they told me that I shouldn't go more than 3 minutes.

I think you should start out slow, less than 5 minutes and work your way up. Maybe go every 2-3 days.

Okay thanks..it shouldn't take long before I get to the tone I want. I just don't wanna burn like I did last time. It's been a few years like I said, I usually never get sun burnt during the summer time and I am always outside but I know tanning beds are way stronger. I just hope I get to where I wanna be before the wedding

OP where will you be tanning? If its Sun Tan City I have a suggestion

I'm not really sure yet. There are 4 different places by my house. I guess I will pick one Saturday

I love tanning! Its been so long  
But i usually go for 10 minutes when i start up. then 2 days later i go for 12. then 2 days later i go for 15. then 15 again than i go the full 20 lol. I used to go tanning everyday until i got pregnant. I dont turn orange though ;)
