Horrible groin pain..

For the past two weeks or so i have been waking up with really horrible pain in my groing area and inner thighs. It hurts to move when i wake up and when i stand. It goes away after im fully awake..but it hurts like hell..have any of you had this and if so why do we get that pain..what you do to cope with it..

The only time I ever had horrible groin pain was when I had a deep vein blood clot in my leg. It hurt like hell too. It would come and go. Is the leg hot to the touch? Does your leg change colors in hot water ( if you take a bath or shower and the leg turns really red or bright purple, like a bruise?) If so, please go get checked out. Blood clots are not to be messed with. Mine extended from my pelvis to my knee. They told me I could have died if any of it broke off. Not trying to scare you, but it is a serious issue.
