Im attempting to find a solution that wont require me to wake him up. As a last resort I would but not if theres another option. Thanks for your input.

Thank you. Id rather fix the problem and let him sleep rather than ignore the problem and wait for him to be wet and upset.

DW mama, i've been in the exact same position with our DS.. super heavy wetter & tummy sleeper, so it'd go all out his diaper & up his tummy.

Poor little thing would wake up crying at 2am saturated, meaning we'd have to change bedding, wipe him down & change PJ's.

No brand of disposable can hold up to him over night, i did the same thing as you, sought help off BG & switched to cloth.

I know what you mean!

DS started peeing through at about 7 months old i think? How old is your bub?

After weeks of trying all the disposable brands i gave up lol!

Bamboo actually gets more absorbent/thirsty as you wash it, i use to use pocket diapers for LO over night and would double stuff with bamboo & microfiber - microfiber ontop to soak up quick & bamboo to soak LOTS.

I was soooo surprised when he woke up dry at a reasonable hour   ... felt like i'd won! haha!

They are 'stay dry' too, so he wont feel moisture against his skin. I've heard amazing things about the hybrid fitteds and have ordered 20 of them to try out on my boys.

Wool covers are meant to be great over them too, very breathable, soft and hold in moisture while staying dry. Sabrina could tell you more about that or you can google

I've only ever used PUL but will try out a woollen when i have more money

Or the 'windpro' fitted by renee would be a great option.

was that for both the cover & hybrid fitted? (who did you buy from?)

Haha yeah i ordered 20.. (for 2 kids that i'll CD full time)
13 from squishy butt
7 from dippee dypees

I've got a bunch of pockets coming too   (i love getting fluff mail!!)

Getting a doubler (extra soaker) is a good idea, you can also get bamboo ones from alvababy.com real cheap, but they take a while to get to you since they're in china.

I ordered from Squishy butts. It made me wonder how people can afford to cloth diaper o.o i did the math and three years of disposables will cost me roughly 1250. I could see cloth diapers easily being that expensive if not more.
But Im not complaining if it works to keep him dry overnight. Ill only need one or two anyway.

if you get china cheapies it is very inexpensive $4-$6 each + free shipping.. its funny though, ive started CDing & am addicted.. want more cute prints & better quality etc

Plus my boys outgrew the one size and now need XL's & i just loveeeee squishy butts, such amazing quality & worth every penny.

Sabrina is amazing  ... shes currently in the process of finishing my giant order of 40/diapers/covers & a few doublers.

The only WAHM i trust 110%.

You'll love them, im positive.

Im sure they'll work too! Did she mention using wool soakers over that to make it fail proof if you have any issues?.. also did you get the bamboo/mf upgrade for $2? ... id STRONGLY recommend you do if you havent - bamboo is the only thing that works for our heavy wetter because it holds so much.

An extra doubler for $2-$3 will help also!

I'm so disappointed   the diaper I bought from Sabrina took three months to get to me, cost 50 bucks, and it's less effective than a regular desposable.
I feel like I just threw 50 out the window and wasted a bunch of time that I could have spent looking for a different solution   so bummed.

I had the same problem with my 15 month old. I get a nighttime diaper, 1 size bigger than what he wears during the day and add a disposable booster to it. Here is a link to some at babies r us http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4417048&cp=2255957.2273443.3242082.4083668.4083673&green you can even go up 2 extra sizes for the nightime diaper. Try to give him most of his fluids during the day, and not as much as night. I had to try a few different night time diapers until I found one that worked. Parents choice overnight is working well for us, or Huggies. Don't buy the Pampers extra protection, those explode if they absorb too much.
