re: when to ttc 2nd child?

My boys are over 4 years apart. If we have a 3rd, I'd like them 2-3 years apart.

see thats what im scared of you had a tough time with kees too didnt you? i dont want another baby with the same issues i went through with axel but i have to take the chance if i want another baby.
how old was kees when you got pregnant with pierce? 10 months?

yeah i thought i was done because i wasnt coping - turns out i had PPD.
Im on meds for it now and feeling SO much better, almost back to my old self  

kees was 9mo when the IUD failed & i fell pregnant with Pierce.

Sucked big time because his reflux had just started to settle and then BAM, new baby with the same issues + a toddler.

Lack of sleep and Pierce screaming all the time sucks.. but it is getting slightly better.

aww im so sorry to hear that but glad your doing better, i was so close to having ppd i think if axel didnt get on the losec that week i would have for sure! i didnt feel like i had bonded with him even with bf but now i am besotted by him hes an amazing boy and everyone says how happy he is! he used to be the most happiest baby on the block, now hes the happiest haha! do you get out much? we should go pf again sometime or something, maybe when DH is home to look after the kids  
what meds is pierce on? if any.

We don't plan on ttc baby #3 until the twins are around 2-3. And considering hubs deploys here in a couple months I'm imagining we wont have any surprises.

your body isnt offically recovered from the first until 18mos after. so i'd say 18mo's but it's truly up to you

We wanted them 2-3 years apart so we started TTC when DS was 20 months or so. LO will be 3 1/2 months when DS turns 3. I LOVE it. DS is such an awesome big brother and really adores LO.

We started officially ttc last June right after I got my mirena removed. dS turned four in October and DD is due in July. So DS will be 4 months shy of 5 years old when she's a newb. I personally like the bigger age difference. I grew up with two older brothers and we're all about 2 years apart. I always got along with my older brother much better than the middle. (I'm the youngest.) Middle and I fought allllll the time. So that kind of influenced my decision.

I wasn't TTCing, but we weren't preventing. DS just turned 10 months when I found out.

My first and second are 1 yr 1 day apart and partners in crime my newest I have is about 1 1/2 yrs younger if I could I would go back and wait til each was out of the constantly needing attention phase or at least they were a little more chill its been hard to hold all 3 at once but just my opinion

I have a 17 month old and a 7 month old. They were supposed to be 12.5 months apart but my second was early. We didn't plan it this way as I was on birth control, but it happened and they love each other sooooo much already. I'm glad they're close in age. No matter what age you have another one, you'll make it work and all will be fine. It's really whatever you want, what works for some isn't going to work for others. As long as you feel financially stable and feel ready to take on another baby, then go for it! Good luck  

We originally wanted our babies 3-4 years apart... We started TTC #2 when DD was almost 3... Thinking we would get pregnant right away like we did the first time. Wrong. It took us 2 1/2 years to conceive DS. He was born January 4th. So we have a 6 year gap. The whole time we were TTC I was freaking out because I wanted them closer together in age. Now that he's here omg the age gap is the biggest blessing ever!!! I love it and think its perfect. However, that is just the perfect fit for us :0) I have friends kids and some of my siblings 2 years apart, some less. Some are 3 years apart or a bit more... And it's perfect for them.

it took me a long time to get pregnant with DS.
i was an only child and hated it so really dont want axel to be an only child.

My girls are 18mo apart. I love the age gap between them. They both adore each other so much. We plan on trying for #3 starting next month. My littlest will be 8mo and we are hoping for the same age gap. After #3 we are done having kids.
