Thanks Ladies!
I walked around some and they got worse, but as soon as I drank some water and laid down on my side they stopped maybe 10 minutes after.   This child just needs to make up her mind already lol Thanks for the advice though, when I talked to mom this morning she said that I could probably go any day now and has me walking around all day lol

ADDED: Oh and I timed them, at first they were about 7 minutes apart, then when I walked they were almost 5, but like I said when I laid down they stopped.

Sorry, late reply. You're a week or so ahead of me in gestation, and we're sort of in a grey area range where they probably won't go too crazy trying to stop labor although it's still obviously not a good thing. They've kind of accepted he's coming early in my case too. My understanding is that for us preterm gals it's better to do the lying down approach instead of the walking approach, as movement can trigger and intensify contractions. Yes, if it is real labor you'd probably figure it out sooner by walking around, and if it is real labor lying down won't help. However for someone like me who is having contractions strong enough to cause cervical change it is possible to stop those not-labor-but-still-not-good contractions with the left side lying water drinking routine. So just to be safe I'd stick with decrease in activity when you're still preterm. After 37 weeks either or should clear things up for a mom who's unsure, but walking might give them the feeling theyre helping move things along.

that makes a lot of since. Im on limited bed rest so I couldn't tell the difference until I was up and moving. Im getting protien in my urine and she is estimating on the big side. Blood pressure is constently fluxuating. il find out next week if im dialated. I wanted to go to 40weeks, but sometimes I wonder if my body will let me. they said i have about 1000 grams or so left before they will induce me due to protien...

I totally feel your pain, I'm on bed rest too and it does make it really difficult to gauge contractions. I haven't had any issues with protein so induction isn't on the table for me. I turn 34 weeks today and as of Wednesday I was 1-2 centimeters, softened and 30-50% effaced. Contractions are pretty much constant and the pressure is so bad I can't walk anymore. Guessing whether contractions are real has turned into a full time job. It sucks, I'm like in the middle of the slowest labor on earth, for no reason at all. If you ever want to talk feel free to pm me, I definitely know what it's like to be on bed rest during the late prematurity phase where there's nothing you can really do but wait and see.
