Do you stretch your ears?

Ok, sooo I want to do it, and a friend of mine who has his done, told me he got them initially pierced at 6g.

He tells me I should do the same.
Good idea?
Im nervous lol.... he told me they bleed a lot while you sleep.. ew haha

Um.... your lobes should NEVER bleed from stretching. Ever. Ever. If they do, you blew your ear out.

And I don't advise getting them pierced at a 6g. Do it slowly... buy a taper kit, and go from there. I bought one from amazon for like $25, and it came with tapers from 16g-0g, and plugs from 10g-0g. I'm currently at 5/8ths and stretched my ears that way... with no bleeding or blow outs.

That makes me so weary. I would NOT want to deal with stretching my lobes after they had obviously split open and were healing. I'd be way too scared of a blow out because your lobe will now have scar tissue.

  Do your research. I was stupid and went from an 18 or a 20 to an 8 in one stretch and my ears bled forever... Stupid idea. Def do all of your research before you do this. I did not do mine until I went from a 2 to a 0 and was like why the hell did that hurt but not the other ones.. So that is when I did my smurf and found out that I have been doing it wrong the whole time and I am lucky I didn't cause my ears to like rot off or something.

2 to 0 is killerrrr. Omfg. SO had to push the taper through because I couldn't (btw, don't do this OP lol) so he pushed them through and my ears BURNED so bad. My lobe was extremely tight around the taper... I couldn't even get the taper out to put the tunnel in. So I left the taper in for the rest of the day and when I took a shower... I finally pushed the plugs in until I heard a pop. When I woke up the next morning, my lobes had pus pouring out. BARF. Thankfully, after 0g... they've stretched on their own with no use of tapers. But that was awful lol.

That is what I did with mine. Just shoved em thorough and my god I seriously wanted to cry. No pus though. Has some bleeding. Yeah I found out that you are supposed to start taping after a 2.   I just have to get the tape. I am thinking I want to go up to 5/8. I originally said 00 but we all know how that goes.

Yeah I never used tape. I tried... and it didn't work for me, oh well  

I'm at 5/8ths but currently downsizing to 9/16th. I have attached lobes... so 5/8ths looks really stupid on my ears because my lobes are so tiny.

Lol. That sucks. How did you get them stretched without tape then? Just tugging on them?

After 0g, they stretched on their own. Actually, I went from 0g to 7/16ths. I put in 00g and they slid right in... so I was like, okay... I'll try 7/16ths, and those slid right in lol. When I size up, I use silicone. I fold them, put them in my ear, and then unfold (you have to tug a bit on your lobe to get the silicone to unfold) but no pain at all
