placenta theory?

so we dont know what were having, we had one ultrasound, done at 19 weeks and it was at a "just for entertainment" places, so ive been looking at old wives tales, just to pass the next few weeks untill baby comes! then i ran across this one. i guess if your placenta attaches to the left, its a girl, right for a boy? has this ever been right for any of you?

I don't even know where my placenta was with any of my kids lol

lol i didnt with any of my other 4, but with this one, for some reason the tech mentioned it was anterior and to the left.

Mine is an anterior placenta. Not sure what the tales say about that one but we are having a boy.

Mine is anterior and to the left and it's a boy. I have no idea where my daughters was. It obviously doesn't make any sense from a scientific perspective, but hey, old wives tales a are fun! I definitely did the Chinese gender calendar one, which actually did turn out right both times.

It is called the ramzi theory & it has to be at 12 wks or before, so a 19 wk U/S wouldn't work. Also has to be transvaginal.

Mine was to the right and was a boy. (:

And if it isn't transvaginal, just flip the picture around (like flip it mentally) and you get where the plasenta is located. Since when the u/s is on the outside the image is flipped.

My first two were boys, the placentas for both were anterior & to the right i believe.. this boy the placenta is low and to the right i believe.. i could be wrong though. have you tried the baking soda one??

my friends and i got bored so four of us did the test and it was accurate for all of us... you pee into a cup of baking soda. if it stays flat after a tiny swirl then its a girl, if it fizzles its a boy.. three of us got a fizzle & we're having boys.. the other it was flat and hers is a girl. it;s all luck of the draw though i think.. i did the red cabbage one as well & the result was boy. but i also did a ph strip test & it kept coming back girl

lol yepp! ive tried it! lol and it didnt fizz with my son it did, but with this one it didnt, fingers crossed!
