Wrong. They used to not be. The market crashed in fall 2008. I know this because I own a home there that I lost over $100k in liquid equity. I will likely never recover that. It is now a rental until the market comes up enough that I can hit a "break even" on the actual small amount (at the time) that I financed on it and pay the closing fees. The surplus of homes is thanks to foreclosures and people moving out of the state when the job market fell with the housing market. Many of the homes were rental homes or second homes that were foreclosed on.

Arizona, Nevada, California and Florida were hit the hardest with that crash. You can pick up homes in Vegas that were million dollar homes for $100k -$200k right now. Condos for $30k. Dirt cheap!!!

Oh come on now. Be fair. There is a fine line in being bitchy and "harassing" someone. She called a momma "fat and old". She sent a pm with it where Anjula thought it needed to be public. She has never been out to harass anyone. She is just a tad crass and can occasionally leave her filter behind.


I will tell you what though, when I was very ill going thru regular transfusions and then in and out of the hospital undergoing multiple surgeries just trying to survive, SHE was there. Not physically but, she messaged me, texted me, called me or something nearly daily to check on me. When the Drs were screwing up (the cause of multiple surgeries), she took it upon herself to use her contacts at the hospitals in Boston to help figure out what was wrong and was doing everything in her power to try and convince me to go there. She is still the person I talk to about the residual effects of that trauma if you will. There were days I wasn't sure if I would see the next sunset or sunrise. If I am out of line emotional on something in day to day life, she gives it to me straight. I don't always like her presentation but, I know her and her intentions. A momma on here just lost her son a few days ago. Do you know who one of the first people to know was? How about why that is? Do you know that she let me know what was going on because I am a few hours from the BG momma in hopes that I could reach out physically and offering support from the BG family aside from what everyone was able to do virally. Do you know who one of the first in line to donate to the fund set up was? All you want to see is that she is a miserable and hateful bitch. That is sad.

The thing is that EVERY single one is guilty of this "bullying" that you are all preaching against. How many times has she been in a thread with a comment that someone didn't like (even though it wasn't offensive) and some mouth pops off with a snide remark about her? Defense mechanism for her is to be smurffy right back. Not that each one of us hasn't deserved an ass chewing once or twice. Each of you are allowed to tell her she is smurfed up to say something off color but god forbid she put anyone in check! She doesn't take BG as seriously as many do. It doesn't consume her life. It honestly should really only consume Maras and that is because it is her website!!

If you really want to get technical, this little thread right here is an excellent example of cyber bullying. An entire thread devoted to bash Jamie and justify how wonderfully perfect we are. Nothing like a little hypocrisy to prove a point.

She really does. I think if people would stop riding her ass for every opinion she has, they just might not see the snarky side so often. She calls it how she sees it. Like I said, we might not always want to hear it but, it sometimes needs to be heard.

The link in here about the Bows, that was a smurf show. The OP blew that out and another momma set Jamie up in there. The OP was allowed to call her names and degrade her but the second Jamie called her on the bullsmurf, she was told it wasn't fair because OP has some "special needs" to which Jamie mistook for the wrong one. Rather than politely correcting her, everyone ganged up on her. Guessing everyone forgot OP's classless behavior that started it. It was just more fun to blame Jamie.

Might it surprise you that from all the way in Boston, she was a greater support to me and still is than my own sister while I was sick? My own sister couldn't be bothered to come see me or help with my kids but a person I have never met face to face cared enough about me and my family to show her support and stop her day to check in on mine.

Yeah I'm not saying she isn't a nice,caring person( I was mostly speaking in general ), I'm just the same as bbbt, and have never came across her being nice/helpful.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't think she will be banned. Mara said it had to be 80% in favor of banning, and it's been on 68% for the past few days.

But I do get what you are saying and I almost always agree with you in every thread from what I have seen you in, I really like your thinking. It's good to know SOA does have a caring/helpful side, it sucks to ass that I haven'r seen it on here, but it's good that she does because we all need someone to lean on. But I have to say, some of things she has said IS hurtful though.

I am glad Heather is gone too!!! She was a frickin psycho. She is busy stalking the teen moms now! I wonder how she has time for her kid. Keisha was a good heart with some deep problems. She was fun and sweet. I think her mental problems led her to create a fantasy life and that was sad.

Amber was a disgusting cow. I was so tired of seeing her photos of her large self stuffed into shirts as dresses. Gross!!
