I hate it...

I absolutely hate when my husband is sick. He becomes a huge douche canoe and I really just want to punch him in the face. He's got pneumonia right now (fantastic!) and he has been a crabby ass hat all day (I get it, he's sick) and all he's been doing is yelling at our son or getting pissed off at me. He got mad at me because I went to climb over the baby gate and hit my knee on the doorway so hard I had to stop moving for a few moments because I thought I was going to start crying. He even smacked our son's hand for POINTING at something that he's not allowed to have. He didn't take it, he didn't touch it, he didn't do anything but point at it. He keeps saying, "I don't feel good," which I guess is supposed to make him exempt from me being mad about the way he's been treating us?

Whatever, I had to vent because if I don't vent here, I'm going to slap the crap out of him.

I get really short, cranky, and downright mean when I am sick. My DH tells me to stay in my room and chases me away if I try to come back down.

Yeah, I can't do that because then it becomes constant whining of, "Baaaaaabe, can you do this for me?" and, "Baaaaaaaaaabe, can you bring me that?" Or my favorite that he's done to me recently, "Baaaabe, can you change the channel on the TV? I can't find the remote." I only did the second one for him because I was already up and in the kitchen (he'd wanted some water).

my husband is a cry baby when he gets a cold! It's crazy he kind of gets on my nerve because he wines sooo much how i don't give him enough attention. I have 3 kids to deal with one of them who is 11 months old. He wants me to lay with him and i look at him like he is crazy I can't afford to get a cold too.

it's worse when you're sick too. a couple of wks ago, DD, DH and i all had the flu. i got up with DD and dealt with her but when i asked him to deal with her so i could nap i just got "i feel like crap!"

Oh, isn't that the best? I hate when we're sick at the same time because he expects to get to lay around all day and when I'm sick I can clean the house and take care of our son and I still get a, "What did you DO all day?"
