My son (4 years old) has been sick since Saturday. He's had fever a and just wanted to cuddle. No fever yesterday, just a cough and runny nose. I sent him to daycare and they texted me saying he said his belly hurt and his temp was 99. I picked him up around 12:30.

He fell asleep around 4. Its now 6:30 and I tried waking him up because he goes to bed at 8 and he told me he just wants to keep sleeping with me (he is laying on me sleeping on the couch). Would you force him up? Just take him up to his bed? Let him sleep and then stay up later until he was tired again?

If he is still sick, I would let him sleep. When my son gets like that he can sleep for like 18 hours straight.

ETA: Maybe wake him up to eat/drink something.

I'd let him sleep and probably put him to bed at the normal time if he wakes up again. His little body is either trying to fight off infection or worn out from fighting it off. He needs sleep.

He hasn't had much of an appetite since Sunday. I asked him if he wanted dinner when I tried to wake him up 10 mins ago but he said no And now he's asleep and snoring.

Yeah, I would definitely let him sleep then.

Aww let the little guy sleep. He needs his rest to get better. Bring him some fluids though. I hope he feels better soon!
