dd has a weird smelling head?

so dd is 13 months old and the last month or so she has had a funny smell coming from her head when she sweats....
when i bath her it goes away but after a few hours it comes back! it almost smells like raw meat? its really weird!! Has anyone had experience with something like this? is it just the smell of her sweat or is there possibly something causing it to smell so odd?? its the middle of summer her so its quite warm but were inside so im not sure why she sweats so much from her head or why it has such a strange odour! i want to take her to the doctor to make sure there is no underlying issue but it seems like a weird thing to see the doctor for...

any insight would be great!

That IS weird. Hmm it is probably her sweat like you think, but I'd maybe go see the doctor anyway. I'm sure people have gone for weirder things. Of I smell my 9 year old's scalp, I swear it smells like Parmesan cheese lol. But that's only when I put my nose right up to it. I can't smell it from afar. I hope you figure it out! It's weird that it's just the last month.

i think i might take her today ive put it down to the smell of her sweat mixed with the smell of baby hair but its just such a strange smell...

My son had this too.

The sebaceous glands on the head are causing too much sebum.

Does she have cradle cap too?

no her scalp looks fine its just smells weird my other dd sweats alot too but her head doesnt smell at all
