Sleeping like a newborn at 11 months - normal?

DD will be 1 on March 30. She goes to sleep really well - no fuss ever, lay her down and say goodnight and she's out like a light. But she has only ever slept for 2-3 hours at a time. At night - bed at 7:30, up at 9:30, 12:30, 3:30 and we get up for work/daycare at 6.
She is BF on demand and I have started to let her fuss for a bit before I go to her, in hopes that she will soothe herself back to sleep. However, she only wants to nurse, nothing else works, and she's drinking earnestly. Then I can put her right back to bed without complaint. It's only about 15 minutes but my sleep is just wrecked. I'm tired.
Would you be concerned or just continue to nurse her every three hours and suck it up without worrying? At almost a year I'm starting to get surprised looks when I say she's never slept more than 4 hours in a row.

Wow, we have baby karma! My son was born on the exact same day and I am having the exact same sleep issues with him. He goes down just fine, but wakes every few hours demanding to nurse back to sleep. He does not take a pacifier. We had started to let him fuss it out a bit more a while back (which was working) but then he came down with a cold, and then an ear infection, and then teething..... The list of reasons is myriad! The past few nights he has been extra fussy but today he has popped out another tooth, so that is probably why. Could your little girl be teething?
Basically, at this age, I know he is night nursing only out of habit. The only way to stop it is to night wean. I'm going to wait until I am sure that he is well again and then I will just stop giving him boobie in the night.i'll try my best to comfort him in other ways, but I know there will be tears. It's going to suck for a few nights, but then I hope that he'll get the picture and start sleeping longer stretches.

My daughter is the same at 8 months. It's hard just thinking about night weaning, I hate to hear her cry but I know it needs to happen-I'm so sleep deprived.
