I am at a loss *again*

My 8 year old step daughter wont wipe!!!

We thought it was a pooping issue. Nope! She just refuses to wipe after she poops. We bought her wet wipes, she has toilet paper. Idk what else to do! We really stressed the importance of being clean down there and still nothing. She tells us she wiped, but her undies tell a different story.

She's seen a doctor, shrink, and talked to a cps worker. They know she is not acting out or trying to get back at anyone. I honestly dont want this to become such a problem she get an infection before she realizes the importance..

I'd start wiping her ass for her or at least checking after she poops, telling her if she doesn't want me to, she's gotta do it properly.

Wow, CPS gets involved over dirty underwear nowadays? Damn. Have you showed her the undies and told her you know she's lying? Maybe she's afraid that poop will get on her hands.

No my husband sister called because "She was filthy" and "left alone for hours on end". Both were false but they did a full investigation before closing the case. We asked the CPS lady to talk to her about this issue and see if maybe there was something the rest of us are missing. She will tell us there is poop in her undies. I hadnt thought about the hand thing. I Might ask her if gloves would help.

Oh that sucks. Your SIL sounds like a peach. Do you know if anyone has actually taught her how to wipe? You could try the glove or going through the whole process over again.

Yeah she is... whole side of the family is. Made a touchy situation sooo much worse. Yeah I went and talked to her about front to back, not back to front. and wiping until the toilet was clean.

My 6 yr old son doesnt either. he refuses to wipe and complains of an itchy butt and there are skid marks in his undies. its sooo frusterating. please let me know anything you try and works TIA
