Quoting lolajessup:" I'm So sorry. That has to be hard so youre not going bak to work there? I was worried about the same ... [snip!] ... a month or so later before any kids made a comment "you know why miss Laura's getting fatter? She's gonna have a baby" haha."
I quit there because there was an outbreak of Fifths Disease and my blood test showed I wasnt immune to it. My Dr said he wasnt comfortable with my work situation, but it was generally up to me.
We could afford for me to quit, so I did. I showed super quick, so they kids all knew by the time I was 8 or 9 weeks. They began asking me if there was a baby in my belly. Plus we had to talk to them about how they couldnt run up and jump on me (mostly for one kid who has Autism, he loved to do that).
My principal said today they would hire me back in a heartbeat if a position opens, I just dont think I could go back since all the kids had so many questions.
I've been gone from there almost 2 months, so i guess I just figured at 5 and 6 years old they might forget the fact I was having a baby before. They were so excited to see me and I got tons of hugs, then when it settled down all the questions began about the baby.
