I agree with everyone else I would definitely be looking into their relationship. If he isn't giving her much money but she is trying to get you to see what a "screw up" he is then there is a reason she wants him to stay at HER house. Two she has NO input on your house and shouldn't be calling YOU to complain about your man. I would ever so sweetly but seriously let her know to step the hell back, before the situation got out of hand!
