Craving waffles

posted 19th Feb
So I was craving waffles slathered in syrup and butter, when I realized I had a batch of leftover batter from some homemade ones I made earlier on Sunday. I busted out the waffle maker and plunged into a delicious buttery haze of goodness. Im not even pregnant rofl, but when a craving strikes, I go after it. Nom nom nom

I freaking LOVE waffles!

You're way better than me though, I just pop open my Eggo minis and put em in the toaster. I don't think I've ever made homemade waffles.

I have those too hahahaha. When im in a rush to leave for the work I need my waffle or hot pocket fix, on the weekends is when I have time to put rachel ray to shame with my mad cookin' skillz.   I love piling my waffles with bacon.

Seriously? I make them often. Fresh strawberries and real whipped cream. They are one of the easiest things to make. Flour, baking powder, salt, milk, eggs, vegetable oil and sugar. You can also add cinnamon or vanilla if you want to. That's it. Missing out. Missing out.

OP if my damn husband (saying that with a smile) hadn't used all my eggs or told me we are out I would have gone and made a batch. I want some now.

DH would love that idea. Bacon waffle sammich   I usually do fresh fruit and real whipped cream. Or a very thick delicious layer of homemade raspberry plumb jelly my Gram makes for me. Topped with real whipped cream. My #1 favorite food.

Oh and another super delicious nom nom in my tum tum breakfast.... I prefer home made bread- but you can use thick store bought... use crepe batter to make french toast instead of the usual, eggs, flour, milk mix. I'm thinking this weekend- totally having a breakfast theme of fooood.

Yep, seriously.

I don't even have room in my kitchen to even use a waffle maker, etc. I barely have room for a coffee pot. My kitchen is so beyond little, you probably wouldn't believe me if I told ya. I do make french toast a lot, it's the kids favorite.

I believe you. We had an apt like that... Had a microwave cart to stack things on. French toast is really good too.

It's like a 2x4, smallest room in the house. So terrible.   But we have no rent or mortgage, so I can't complain too much.
