Potty time?

My son is 27 months and still not potty trained. He's peed in it at random times though. Is this bad?

27 months is still young. He will potty train when he is ready.

I don't think so.

The more you push potty training on a child who isnt ready, the more likely they will "relapse." Boys generally take longer than girls to be fully trained, but it's good that he is trying. Just keep giving him lots and lots of praise for going and a special treat! He still has time!

my kid is 28 months and has NEVER peed on the potty. lol

Every child is different...my friend didn't bother to start potty training til her son turned 18 months and in july he will be 2 and still only does it at random no signs of interest...My son however started walking at 8 months and at 10 months decided to use the potty when mama pottys and now just a little over a year he has started to try to potty at other peoples houses, but if he is busy playing forget it he just will pee in his diaper...I don't force or push him and seem to have good luck...wishing you the best of luck but wouldn't worry or stress it or push...i think when parents force it or push it the child becomes scared and hesitant to use the potty...
