bedroom light solution

posted 19th Feb
so logan has limited furnature in his bedroom for pretty good reason. he had a dresser which he climbed on all the time, instead of attaching it to the wall i just took it out of his room and put it in our room where he cannot go.
but he used to have a lamp too, and he threw that off his dresser and broke it. the room doesnt have any permanent lighting. i tried a nightlight and he just took it out of the wall and tore the shield off.
i feel bad because the ONLY way to get him to sleep is to shut the door and it is completely dark in there. he isn't afraid of the dark but idk...every time i want to read a book in there i have to bring our desk lamp and stuff.

do they make anything like those step lights but like...brighter? something i could just adhere to the wall out of his reach?
anyone have any other ideas?

They make tons of battery operated lights you can adhere to the wall. You just push them to turn off/on. They're pretty darn cheap, too.

Yeah, cheap is the word alright. We bought one of those for DS1 when he was a toddler and it quit working after 20 minutes. Bought a couple of more and they did the same thing.

I completely forgot about these, I wanted to get one a few months ago. I think these would probably be a better bet, OP.

But the other things were called Tap Lights. I used them when the older girls were babies, they worked really well.

It just depends on where you get them. They have some at Dollar Tree, but I wouldn't trust them. I got the ones I used to use at Target.

They're about 11.00 for a two pack at those places. Just check in "As seen on T.V." section at whichever store you go to.

They really weren't bad. I used them at night, so as long as it took to feed a newborn and do all the diaper change stuff. They lasted a few months before I had to change batteries.
