Implanon removal

I am getting my Implanon removed in a few hours
I was just reading that alot of woman get there sex drive back after they have it taken out.
I have lost my mojo since having it put in and I and dh want it back, I am hoping that the reason it took a dive in the first place due to this (implanon) as that is when it went mia!!
Anyone who has had Implanon removed have you noticed a difference in your sex drive? I am looking forward to getting my body, hormones and life back to normality.
Also for those of you who have had Implanon what was it like once you had it removed and how long did it take to go back to "noramal" and did you have any side effects?

Thanks for asking this, I'm ringing up tomorrow to arrange to have mine taken out and wanted to know all this too! I've been bleeding for 8 months, have gained 2 stone and I have NO sex drive whatsoever... it has made me so so miserable and strained my relationship as OH believes I don't find him attractive anymore... there is hope for me yet ^.^ So thank you

I bled for months, no sex drive while on it.

Only pro for implannon is it helped with my depression, odd.

Removed it, I feel human, depressed is under control.

& DH has never been do tired ;) lol

Interesting as I felt not so much depressed but like a different person, like I just couldnt be content with in my self.
I had no bleeding and no sex drive at all and when I say at all I mean I would of been happy not to have sex at all period.
It has been 24 hours since I have had it out and I have felt pretty good so far, I dont feel lethargic anymore.
