Symptoms--What could it be?

Over the last 2-3 months I have experienced the following symptoms which are not normal for me at all--
Sudden weight gain (20-ish lbs) even after cutting my calories down to around 1500 a day
Extreme fatigue no matter how much sleep I get
ZERO sex drive
Dry skin
Irregular periods (I have had since the first week of December) and I always have a regular once a month period
Extreme mood swings

Any ideas?

Have you had your thyroid checked? Sounds like a lot of symptoms for that. Look up some...

Exactly what I was thinking. Sounds like hypo to me.

I have considered that, but I didn't know if it could just come out of nowhere like this. Is that something my obgyn could diagnose? I have my yearly exam on Thursday

Thyroid.
Go get it checked. It's just a quick blood test. Just ask your doctor to do it for you.

Yeah, they can check your TSH levels. Definitely mention it.

Yep. When it comes, it comes. I'm not sure if your OB would do the blood work. When I had mine checked I had to go to family doc. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

I have hypothyroidism but my only sign was extreme fatigue and not losing weight No matter what. Pregnancy through mine off, it's three times where it should be :/

Aaand it IS an underactive thyroid--doctor prescribed synthroid. Thanks ladies  

Im on. 120mg.....it takes a while to regulate also.
