got to thinking...

and I just realized, I literally have zero friends.

besides my mom and boyfriend.. I have no friends.

I guess today it's just getting to me.

Me too, my oldest daughter is my best friend for pete sakes lol.

I have "friends" but I don't make the effect to visit them, they don't visit me, if we see each other around, sure we'll say hi to each other, but yeah.

I am sorry. I literally have ONE friend, besides my husband in real life. I just met her when I desperately put a post of CL looking for friends, after my husband deployed. (He was my only friend, so I was really lonely and didn't think I could do a deployment without support or else I would NEVER try to find a friend on CL. The only reason why even met her is because we REALLY connected and had a lot in common! lol I set up safety precautions before meeting her though! lol) Of course, she found a job not long after we met, so our hang out time has been cut in half.   It is lonely without my husband too, ugh!

my boyfriend has been here the last 2 weeks helping prepare for the baby, and helping with the kids the first few days.. and he left last night, i'm so lost.
i just want him to come back. but i feel desperate for asking him to come home.

  I am sorry. It is always the worse when they first leave. Ugh! How long til you all see each other again? I have basically 3 more months until we are done with this deployment and I will have 2 friends in real life again! lol

my DH is deploying in a few months and leaving me with two kids under two with no family or real friends. I'm terrified   I have people around here that I consider friends but im not sure how reliable they are

I don't know. we sometimes go weeks without seeing each other.
and since I can't drive just yet, and his license are suspended it's probably going to be a little while.

I am sorry hun! This is our first deployment with any kids, and I happen to have 2, too! lol (3 if you count the dog!) If I can do it, you can too! Although I am sure there will be plenty of times you will feel like you can't! I am also sure you will find out how reliable those friends of yours are! If you ever need someone to talk to or vent or anything though, feel free to look for me! I always love some conversation that consist with an adult! lol Although in 3 months, I may be gone for a month or so spending time with DH when he comes back. lol

I understand the feeling. I have no friends outside of BG, no boyfriend, nothing. My family and I barely tolerate each other. Get a cat? lol

That sucks. How far away do you all live from each other? I don't know what all options you have, but maybe find other ways of travel? I know when DH was in bootcamp, I would go visit him 15 hours away on the greyhound bus! lol (I only reccommend this as a last option! lol)

Thanks for the words of encouragement doll   I PT'd you. How old are your LO's? I'm pretty sure i'm going to just stay in a xanax induced haze for the 8 months he's gone. This will be our first with kids too. He did a year deployment when we first moved to NC and that was hell; I can't imagine the misery I have waiting for me with two friggin kids this time.

NP, and feel free to fish for more if you ever need to hear some encouraging words! lol My LO's are 4 (well next month anyways) and 5. What about your LO's? Yea xanax and um....I will just say natural methods have probably saved me from going crazy this deployment! lol We live 3 hours away from family (I don't really get along with family), so I thought maybe I could ask for a break every once in awhile, but of course no one wants to watch my crazy boys! lol We were in Hawaii before here and I would rather be there now! lol We did our first deployment in Hawaii with no kids and it was hard as hell too. Not sure if it was just because it was our first deployment or we had just lost a daughter, probably both. Then of course they extended him after I found out I was pregnant after r&r! lol This is actually (luckily) only our 2nd deployment. Is this you all's 2nd too? I honestly think it is easier with kids because they keep you busy and no matter what, they can still make you laugh and smile when your world seems like it is falling apart.   They will drive you nuts too, I am sure! lol

oh geez 4 and 5 you must be so tired! Mine will be 2 and 4 months when he leaves (if he leaves when they say he will) He is leaving one month after this one is born for stupid training for 4 weeks. SHOOT ME.
You and I have so much in common lol! My family is about 7 hours away and they honestly make me nuts so they wouldn't be any help. Yes, this will also be our second deployment   I'm sorry to hear about your loss   I think what made ours so hard is I was an immature twat back then and I didn't realize the full extent of what my DH was doing over there. So we had a lot of stupid petty arguments.

Well I did have horrible insomnia before DH deployed that seemed almost instantly cured when he deployed. lol I don't have a problem sleeping now! 2 and 4 months will be fun though for you, wait until they are both mobile and you have one trying to go one way and the other one the other way! lol Luckily mine listen very well for the most part, so it is easier than I thought it would be, but they definitely have their moments. Good luck on the argument part...I was the same way with DH the first time, but we still have our arguments...just not as often or bad. One of our average arguments are when he tries to tell me how to parent the kids, that he isn't around and has no clue how they are now! lol That one is fun! Plus we both have done some changing and growing, so it is hard to know how to change and grow together when you are apart, but we are hanging in there. lol We have to learn how to live together all over again though...I would say I like having my bed to myself, but I have 2 boys and a dog that crawls into my bed every night. lol (My dog is a big 110 lber too!)
