Have you ever?

Dated or slept with someone that you later found out you were related to? Was it by blood or marriage, and was it close or distant? Just curious.

I just found out that someone i had dated for a few months I am related to very distantly. I was like -_- Just no...

No, that would be weird! lol Especially if you slept with them!! I don't even know how I would react. I might feel dirty or something, but at least you didn't know and not like you can change the past.

Yea ewwww is the right word. I know a lot of the people i am related to and his last name never came up in the list of people i'm related too. I mean on my maternal grandmother's side we have a huge family reunion every year. I guess i should have asked more about the people my grandpa was related too. I don't know anyone from my dad's side though which is sad, except my aunt and uncle.

Luckily i know it's very distant and by marriage so it made me feel just slightly better. But i still feel like crawling out of my skin!

My husband did. They went to his aunts house. He hadn't met that part of the family before that. Well they were introducing everyone but this one wasn't there and they didn't bother to mention her. They actually met up at the lake and had sex on a boat....She left & went home. DH did the same after about 30 mins later...She walked into the living room where DH had just walked in and his family was like OH this is your other cousin... Needless to say, they didn't speak after that

Yes. -_- our grandparents were first cousins.
