Relationship with moms

Just wondering How your relationships with your moms are? I used to be really close with my mom until she completely left her family for a man : (

It could be better. But we were close before I got pregnant with my youngest.

What made it different?

We're good as long I as just take her as she is. I know what to to expect from her, and I know in what ways I shouldn't count on her. Makes it simple and disappointment free.

My mother had me when she was 16. She has been more like a sister to me than a mother. If we are living together longer than a week, we get on each other's nerves. I don't speak to her often, and consider my grandmother to be more like my mother.

My mom is seriously my best and only friend.
I call her every morning as soon as I'm up.. and the kids are all settled.
I see her at least 3-4 times a week.

I thought it was good until last weekend. She stayed over for the weekend and out of no where informed me that she thinks she failed in raising me because I don't go to church, my children aren't and won't be baptized and I am staunchly prochoice.

I wish things could be different because I really miss her but I need to be strong for my son. She was using me for drug money when I tried to have a relationship with her after she left my stepdad

Dont beat yourself up. I cut my dad out of my life for his selfishness also. you can only change yourself and not anyone else.

I have an awesome relationship with my mom. The only time we ever got into it was about my wedding haha and when I was 13 I told her I hated her boyfriend and she was mad at me for a while lol. Other than that we don't really any issues. Although we have our days where we just irritate each other (we're both really stubborn and a lot alike and we both think we're always right) and we ignore each other lol. But that was back when I was living with her.

I would say it's like any other mother daughter relationship but I know they're always not the same.

Everyone thinks me and my mom are close but were not. My brother and her are extremely close. Me and her butt heads a lot. I live with her right now till I can get money saved but we rarely ever speak on a personal level.

We are really close. We talk every day on the phone for at least half an hour and she was the first person other than SO that I told I was pregnant.

We've never been close. My relationship with my dad is like 100 x's better.
