re: Relationship with moms

My mom and I are super close. I don't know what I would do without her. she's my support system. I often go to her before my SO (which isn't good for my relationship with him obviously sigh)

My mom had me 2 months after her 16th birthday. Personally I think thats why our relationship isnt very close. We drive each other crazy too. And probably why we butt heads a lot.

My moms not horrible but my dad has genuinely been there for me when my mom wasn't. My mom stayed with a man who treated all her kids like military students and we were all miserable and depressed our entire teenage years. I moved in with my dad and he was/is just so much more loving and has never chosen his wife over me.

She's my best friend.

Yep, probably so. That is why I was terrified of getting pregnant as a teen. I would never want a relationship with my children like I have with her.

I have a great relationship with my mom now that I have kids in the past it sucked but now we talk or see each other every day.
