I have been with all 3 of mine as well. I am REALLY hoping to go into labor on my own this time. In fact, I want them to let me go past 38 weeks..and my husband is military too. Missed the last one by a week, and the first one he had JUST got home 3 days before, but he had food poisoning and I kicked him out cause I couldn't listen to or smell the puke hahaha. But yes it will be nice to have him here for this one. Especially if I end up with another emergency csec.

Quoting Sarah Bare-ah♡:" I really don't see the big deal about a woman wanting to be induced especially if you are pro choice. It should be her decision to make with her doctor. It's her body and her baby."
I was actually wondering if that would be a part of the prochoice ideas. I am glad someone clarified it

Lol oh gosh, sounds like you have had you share of fun too! We have thought about trying for another little girl (our first was stillborn and now we have 2 boys), but I have medical issues without being pregnant now, so that is a scary thought. I REALLY would love to not have to be induced to have my baby though! Sadly, I don't think I could go without being induced...something would probably happen just like in my other pregnancies. lol If we decide to though, my husband is deployed now, so if we do when he comes back, maybe he will have got to see all of our babies be born. lol So far we have been lucky! The closest he was to missing is when he got me knocked up on r&r and they extended him the day after I found out! lol He came home a little earlier than expected at the end of September and I had my son December 6th. Although isn't it so weird when your husband leaves and you don't have a belly and he comes back and you are all huge?! lol Or is that just me?

Good luck, btw! I hope things go the way you want! I have never had an emergency c-section, but I wasn't allowed a c-section in my 1st or 3rd birth anyways or they probably would have done one.

I never made it past 36 weeks with my boys so I am a bit nieve or you could even say slightly un educated with the topic of induction (I only know what I have read on BG).
Imo I guess it would be a decision that only a Dr and mother could make for what ever reason. The Dr would or should know if it was a good or bad idea for the mother and baby.

I had to be induced for medical reasons and I don't see why anyone would opt to be induced, but it's none of my business. *shrugs*

Some doctors are idiots and some are induction and/or c-section happy.

unfortunatly you are right there are idiots in every field of work.
Uggg it makes me shudder though, they literaly hold both the mother and babies lives in there hands.
I just hope that when these decisions are made everyone is made aware of the risks etc.

Yea, if you are going to do it, at least know the risks and do your research. Maybe you will be more prepared if something does happen.

I wouldn't say it is, I'm a strong supporter of abortion rights but against non medical reasons for inductions. Here in the UK we have strong abortion rights laws but we do not do inductions for non medical reasons, it is not allowed so no they absolutely do not go hand in hand.

I am all for a women's rights, but I don't agree with induction unless it is medically needed. Now, it is still not for me to say anything if that is
what they choose, but it is something I think negativily about.

It is going to be soooo weird. My hubby left from R and R in October..I found out I was pregnant like a week later. He will be home for good in a couple weeks, and I now have a belly. So it will be really weird. Although he says he is used to seeing me pregnant LOL! I am just excited to have him home! Fat belly and all hahaha

I got induced with my first so I could have family there. Seeing I lived out of state. I regret it now knowing the risk. I was scheduled to be induced this time for health reasons but didn't make it to that date anyways.

I got induced with my third baby, due to the fact that when I went into premature labor it took almost fours to find a babysitter for my other boys. and once it was ok for him to come he didn't want too, so I decided to, so could make sure I would have a babysitter. I personally am glad I did due to the fact that my labor went real fast with him.
