So I have A- blood.
I had bleeding a couple weeks ago, and got the Rhogam shot. This same thing happened with my last pregnancy.

However, now I'm bleeding again.

Do I need the Rhogam shot AGAIN since I had it just a couple weeks ago?
I was told you need it with bleeding.

Good question. I'm RH- too but I've never bled multiple times. Can you call a nurses hotline? They will be able to tell you.

I am A- as well and I had it once at 9 weeks and again at 28 weeks. You will get one right after birth as well and so will the baby depending on blood type.

I understand... I've had four other pregnancies... I'm speaking in regards to bleeding.

Oh well as for that I am not q uite sure what that would be. I would ask them to check for things such as Subchronic hematoma or other things within your Cervix.. it may be something thats not even serious, but ask them to do their minor testing so you can figure out whats up.

I was asking if anyone knows whether or not you are supposed to get a rhogam shot EVERY time you have bleeding or not. I'm not worried about the bleeding in general. Might be a good idea to read the OP first...
