Idk what it is

This is my first baby so I really have no clue if this is Braxton hicks or what but im almost 20 weeks idk what a contraction even feels like only know what ive read online n last night when I was making dinner I got this weird period like cramping it lasted like 20 seconds n went away but came back a min later n then went away n I didn't have any till once again tonight I was making dinner n it happen again just one time it makes me have to stop what I'm doing cuz the pain n uncomfort it really just worries me that there is something wrong I'm calling my doctor in the morning but for now I want to know what everyone thinks its is

I wouldn't really worry to much having pains during pregnancy is kinda normal your not really far along enough to have bx contracts but if you get to worried I'd call the Dr and see what they say

Cramping in pregnancy is not unusual. Especially as you get further along, everything is stretching and moving. It's not something to worry about unless you have spotting to go along with it really.
Braxton hicks should not be painful and since this is your first pregnant you probably won't get those until further along. They feel more like a tightening in your abdomin, it can make you feel winded. It's kind of like your being squeezed around your midsection. Uncomfortable but not painful.
Have you had any round ligament pains yet? That's when you get sudden very shalt pains in your lower abdomin sometimes near your hips, they can actually take your breath away. No fun. If not i feel like you should be warned about them because the first time I had them I totally freaked but it's totally normal.

yea ive had round ligament pain but that dont bother me all that much. i just never felt what i felt the other night n got worried n when i told my fiance he was also worried maybe its the fact that pregnancy is still so new to us that we dont know what to expect so we tend to freak over the little things just cuz we dont want anything to happen. if u ladies say its normal to feel that kind of cramping then i will go with that cuz u know way more than i do
