I would tell DH to have fun with his parents, as you and the little ones will NOT be going. And if he doesn't like that, inform him it's his own fault and that HE better fix it. I do love the idea of the tickets getting 'changed' at the last minute ;)

I'd be so pissed. If its a family trip, its not family plus 2. See if you can go to the other Disney park, or give her the wrong date lol.

Oh, she is still doing that on June 15th. So now, I get to put up with her May 28-June 1 and then June 12- June 16. I will be in prison soon. All I can say is I am soooo glad I don't live in AZ anymore. Nothing like a major intrusion.

I know I'm going against pretty much everyone here and thought do agree it's not right they invited themselves on a family vacation.. BUT don't let it ruin your good time. So they are there, so what? Your kids will still have a great time, they'll still have giant smiles plastered to their faces while they meet all their disney favorites! I know they are imposing themselves on what you want to be a private family time and that's crappy. But have a good time, smile, have fun, enjoy it despite any interference because no matter what and no matter who is there your kids are going to have a blast! They are going to meet every princess and ride all the rides and they won't give a smurf who was there. They will just remember how fun it was and that's the memory that really counts. So whatever they do or whatever you choose to do DON'T let it ruin Disney World for your kids. They aren't going to give the smallest smurf who was there and who wasn't, you could be a million miles away and they are going to remember that they MET Micky Mouse or Ariel, or Cinderella. The real experience isn't who it there but who they see, all their favorites come to life and rides that give them thrills. I know your kids will have a magical time no matter what because it's freaking DISNEY!

If only you knew the depths of evil in this woman's bones. That is why I have a problem. She is hateful and has done horrible things to me since day one off entering her sons life. I am just furious that she thinks she has that right to be there on MY family vacation! I have never hated anyone in my life until her. I don't even hate the ex who tried to kill me. When I think about this woman, my blood boils.

I get it, my MIL is pure evil too. Just evil you can't explain to normal people because they haven't experienced humanity on that level. If you can't salvage it can you at least keep her out of the pictures? Send her on errands that will keep her busy while you capture memories? "Oh darn evil monster in law, can you stand in line for that refill on lemonade while we capture a family moment?" Worth a try. My MIL blows too.

I put up a status on my FB about how this is the first family trip we have ever taken that didn't have a "purpose" (wedding, deal with my house in AZ, family ect..) I know her sisters are going to see it and when she starts talking about going, they are going to ask her why she is intruding. When she says she was invited, they will corner her on why I didn't include her in the statuses. Hopefully, that will be enough for the FIL to second guess what game she is playing now.

Her and the ssmurf in law could disappear and I wouldn't shed one tear. I hate them so badly!!

I hope so. It is bad enough she decided she needed a fricken birthday party right after their big birthday. I will be forced to deal with her and that cow of a ssmurf in law for a week already. I don't need the happiest place on earth ruined for me before I am thrown into the fiery pit of hell.

I think she has plenty of time to get to 'have memories' if she wants them later on. She's so inconsiderate and rude to want to take this from you. She reminds me of my MIL. I'm so thankful DH isn't anything like her.

May 28-June 1

She is selfish. We were talking about the girls being born while I was pregnant and I said that we will be doing it alone and nobody would be in the room with us or in the waiting room ready to bum rush. We wanted the first night alone to bond as a family and to just have our time. She told me that I couldn't stop her because she is the grandmother. I said try again. The hospital they were born in was completely blocked off with one way in to the public. The nurses had to buzz them in and they had to be approved by the patients on the floor. The nursery did have a window that looked out to the small landing near the elevators but, my girls were never in there. They were c-section babies and went with my husband straight to our room. She had to wait until the next afternoon when I was ready for visitors. I figured smurf her! My kids, my moment and not hers. She actually took pictures, blew them up to 8x10 framed them and was giving them out before we left the hospital. I was there for 3 nights 2 days (girls were born at night). So much for me getting to share the first photos of my kids.

Our son was born here in MT so no drama there. Lol

This doesn't even touch the tip of her garbage. There is just no respect from her and she lacks boundaries.

I know exactly how you feel. If your mil and sil are the same as mine i would cancel the whole trip if so didnt take care of it. It would be a miserable trip her butting in on private dinners and she would find out what special things you wanted your children to see and do them first. If he doesnt say anything YOU should.
