He just got a tooth I don't think he is getting anymore atm.

I highly doubt it. He will just be walking forward then starts stumbling backwards. He'll get up and take off again.

Ohhh, I see. I agree with the other replies, there's probably some kind of fluid imbalance in his ears. It may not be painful.

He's also very flatfooted could that be a reason too? I'm taking him to a store and they're going to make shoes to fit his feet. Maybe that will help?

No that is not caused by flat feet, unless your LO is only doing this in shoes? It is best for them to be bare foot when it is safe. Let him walk with out shoes on at home.

That would really worry me, and I'd probably bring him in, thinking inner ear issue for sure.

However, my son always gets extra clumsy when he has a growth spurt, like he doesn't know where his parts are supposed to go anymore.
