Depends on the child. Are they responsible? I say 9 on a school night and 12 on the weekend if they are responsible. If they aren't responsible and have less than acceptable grades, 9pm on weekends and 7pm on weekdays. IF homework is done.

Later. At 17 I was able to stay out until like 2 am (on weekends) as long as I kept my dad updated as to where I was. During the week, it was 11pm-12am. He went by what grade we were in (9th grade, 9pm... 10th grade, 10pm... etc).

oh, oops. I answered without reading that it was the weekend. I put 10 pm thinking week nights. I guess for the weekends it would be no later than midnight but it would depend on what they were doing.

10pm or earlier. 17 means I'm still responsible for them. When they reach 18 (or in their case in AL 19)they are considered an adult then & only then will it be ok to stay out later when they live with me. I like sleeping at a decent hour

I'd say 11 if the kid is responsible. Maybe later if they earn it.

Depends how mature/responsible they are. I moved away for college at 17 so didnt really have a curfew at that age. When i was still at home i would be out until 2-3am but i was very responsible and had my parents complete trust. Doesnt really count because i was out working. I worked the closing shift.

I wish you were my mom. I had to be home at dark no matter what, and I had great grades and was rarely in trouble.

I moved out of home at 17 so I had no curfew. I was in college. But when I was 16, my curfew was whenever as long as my parents knew where I was.
