Depends on the kid to me. If they are known for lying or going behind my back, I would say they need to be in the house by 8. If they are responsible and trustworthy, no later than 10, possibly later if they are going to see a movie or something I might allow that.

Unless my kid was into trouble, I wouldn't care. I would trust them. And the way I look at it, I joined the army and moved out when I was barely 17. They're almost adults, so I'll start treating them as such.
