re: Whats the worst thing your husband has said to you?

SO came downstairs and swatted his four year old's hand because she was standing on the chair. It was more like a light tap, but it still pissed me off because I was standing there hanging on to her to make sure she wouldn't fall - she was trying to get something off the counter and wanted to do it herself so I told her I'd help. I snapped at SO and told him I told her it was okay this one time because she asked and I'm helping her. He said, "shut up before I kick your ass too." ... he had never said anything like it before so I was in shock. We argued for a couple minutes and then he left for work. This was a couple weeks ago and honestly I still feel 'weird' about it. It really hurt he said that, especially since he knows I grew up in an abusive household and years later I'm just starting to trust again and be more open.

Someone please repond to mine. I need advice. Was it just heat of the moment

A threat on your life should ALWAYS be taken seriously. I don't know what I would do in that situation. Does he have a past of being verbally/emotionally/physically abusive?

That would definitely freak me out. Has he ever indicated that kind of behavior before? If he's never showed that before...I dunno. It would be hard thing to forget. Stress does crazy things to men. I guess it would depend on what kind of person he was on the daily.

Not at all. Were going theough alot and to top it off he was drubk... Sober hes not like that

At least his ex wasn't as much of a bitch as me. He also said that she was better than me. We were having an argument and it got pretty heated and I told him he should go back to her (in not so nice words) long story but we were arguing about her. To this day it still hurts me. I dont know if i will ever be over it  

He would have to seriously show me he didn't mean it. I don't know if I could personally do it anymore, because I've always heard your true feelings come out of you when you are angry and stop surpressing them. Could you do counseling?

Him being drunk probably had a lot to do with it. Not saying that what he said is ok at all. I have said some horrible things to DH when I was drunk.

No, hes got annoyed with certain coveraations. Thats it. He's
A funny guy. He has a huge heart. He has anxiety though, and is bad when he drinks, not to me, but certain things he says

I didn't notice you said he was drunk. It might be a lil different. I still be pissed and telling him he better watch his drinking if he can't watch his mouth.
