Twisted penis/foreskin?

My four month old son just had his doctor's visit today. Everything looked great, although they want to check him for a lazy eye. Anyways, she did comment on his penis. She asked if they had any concern when he was first born and they didn't. She said it was a bit twisted and kind of curved but that she'd just watch it at each appointment.

Does anyone know what this could be? His foreskin is still attached (he is uncircumcised) but two months ago at his appointment, the doctor we had pulled his foreskin down pretty hard and told is we should be doing it too. I know that isn't right and it didn't detach or become infected..I'm just afraid what he did would have something to do with it.

I guess I just don't remember if it's always been like this.

I would ask to see a urologist.

It could be congenital penile curvature.

Never pull the foreskin back. It will cause scar tissue and could lead to issues.

I know this. I called and complained after the doctor last time did it. He's not my normal pediatrician..

Yeah that would piss me off. I know it is what they used to do anyway though. I bet he was an older doctor.

I was really upset. He was a bit older but he seemed like he was from another country. My normal pediatrician was really mad when I told her today. I think this guy was just a doctor training there or something, I don't know. I would be really upset if this whole thing was caused by him but my husband insists that our son's penis has always looked like that.

It may have tried to re-attach to the head and attached wrong. I would get him checked out by a professional and make sure the doc is against pulling it back! Poor baby.

I don't know if this is the same thing... but I dated a guy once, and his penis had a natural curve to it.
