No you just tell whoever you are telling it to that you took it in the armpit.

Average temperature for armpit is 97.6 and a fever is anything over 99.4.

You can add the degree though, it doesn't hurt, just tell them you did. In which case average is 98.6 and a fever is anything over 100.4.

I notice you are Ontario, are you using celcius?

Celcius normals for an axillary are 36.5 to 37.5. Anything over is a fever.

no i have a Fahrenheit one shes normally 97, but shes been at 100 + all day today :/ she was at 102.9 at one point and i just didnt know what to do cause i was told by my nurse not to fret unless over 103
