Stopping breastfeeding?

I just recently stopped breastfeeding my almost 2 year old. My left breast has produced less milk than my right for a long time, but I'm pretty sure the milk has now completely left it because it's just empty... but it never became engorged or got any bigger really. It just went away? But my right on the other hand still has milk in it it seems, but still isn't getting engorged. Just feel more full, etc. Is this normal? I feel the drying up process should be a lot different than this?
