Death

How do you deal with it? My SO died in a car wreck early this morning. :/
I'm still in shock. I don't know what to think.   He was only 22. :crys: Holy smurf.



A 22-year-old Sumter man is dead following a single car wreck early Tuesday morning.
Dustin Kyle Kennedy was killed after the 1989 Acura two-door vehicle he was driving north on S.C. 441 Peach Orchard Road went off the road about 4 a.m.
The car went around a curve, straightened out and exited the road on the left, according to Senior Trooper B.R. Wyant of the S.C. Highway Patrol. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Wyant said.
This incident remains under investigation by the S.C. Highway Patrol.

I don't know, hon. You just learn to deal with it a little easier day to day. It'll take some time, and definitely get help and ask for it if you need it. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

I heard the sirens and didn't think anything of it. He was coming to pick me up. He was probably not even 2 miles from the house.

I'm so sorry- I lost my mom at 13 and I felt like I died inside, It honestly took me 5 years to accept it. Its been 11 years now and I still haven't dealt with it completely. I guess you just kinda learn to live.

Oh my god   I'm so sorry. I'm terrified of my SO dying. I can't even imagine.

It will take time. The shock has already set in. I watched my best friend go through this when her SO was KIA. She was in shock for a long time, then she got angry. At everyone and then after a couple months she started to heal. This is going to a long process but take it day by day. Get counseling if you need it.

I lost my dad 8 years ago to cancer. It was the most terrible thing I've ever seen or been through. I still am angry, I still go through phases where I hate life, where I feel like nothing is fair.

Please seek help if you start to go down that road.

I cant even begin to imagine what you are going through right now. That is terrible news and I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will definately be in my thoughts and prayers. I know going through a sudden, unexpected loss myself how hard it is to get through the day, but turn to someone whom you can trust and talk to them or just have them around for comfort. Take time for yourself and dont let others tell you how you should feel. We all grieve in our own way and in our own time....May God watch over you.
