well i have no idea how classes are for cert. programs bc they are all program based. the transfer degree is the AA & it is super easy. like, highschool easy.

Academic counselors are great! Go talk to one so they can help you find something you love...and gen ed classes are easy- as long as you pay attention and take good notes you'll be fine.

It'll be at least an AA. I did pretty well in high school but I still always felt like I was just smart enough

if you get nervous in your classes i really recommend building relationships with your professors. that has helped me a TON. once you get used to the flow of how college works, everything will go smooth for you.

It takes good time-management skills and drive more than anything to succeed in school.

And, if you finish and hate the job you get, do something else! I'm 30 and have a M.S. and am starting a new degree in the fall...and I'm terrified.

You'll make it and you'll be great  .

I guess my biggest fear is that I won't be able to absorb the material because I will only be able to do online classes and I learn better hearing things.

i am the same way. i am currently doing online classes because we moved 250 miles from my school and i refused to transfer to the CC here. some classes i have retained a lot (humanities) but others i take the test then forget everything (algebra lol). honestly, as long as it doesn't pertain to your degree then it doesn't really matter. i took all of my classes that mattered on campus so i'm good. i think, anyway lol.
