Heeeelp me? Turkey breast question.

posted 19th Feb
I bought this:

Because DH wanted to try it.
Okay.

How the hell do I cook it? I plan on making sandwiches with it. So cooking it, without drying it out, and then slicing it and making hot turkey sandwiches with gravy.
But what would be the best way to cook it? Can I crock pot it? Orrr???

SO CONFUSED. Thanks.

Do you have a roasting pan? If not you can buy disposable ones at the grocery store. Cook it with either water or broth to keep it moist. If your crock pot is big enough you can use that too, just remember to keep liquid in the pot. GL

I do but it's in storage...somewhere

OR IS IT?   I should check.

And what should I add, liquid wise? Just water? I don't want to add too much since it has like, a marinade on it. But I obviously want it to not get nasty and dried out or burn.

Roasting pan with a lid, and some water? That should keep it moist and cook it through all the way, right? I've never cooked anything like this before and I don't want to mess it up lol

I have only cooked Turkeys and Roasts, nothing really like that lol. My grandma always uses water just enough to keep moisture in the pot. I would look for the crock pot as it would probably work best, but if not yes a pan with a lid. It will cook it all the way through, just keep an eye on the water and refill if it gets low.

I know where my crock pot is! Just not my roasting pan. They should theoretically do about the same thing, I think?

And thank you!!!
