Has my mind changed since I've became pregnant?

posted 19th Feb
It sounds completely ridiculous to say that my "mind" changed, but I really think it has. See my problem is that I use to be a full die hard fan of scary movies. I can watch them any time of the day everyday, by my self, whatever. But since my pregnancy I've had this odd fear of them, I won't even watch them during daylight hours. An when I do watch them with my fiance I have horrible nightmares. This isn't like me. Has anyone else had these sorts of problems?

I've only had that kind of thing happen with foods I used to really love but now hate. But, actually I can see that happening since your hormones change how your mental and physical self reacts to certain things. I'd say it's definitely possible, but it hasn't happened to me (that I know of)

I've had that with foods also. I just feel odd that it also effected my whole mind set. I really cant explain the fear either. I cant even look at covers of a scary movie without my heart pounding out of my chest.

I've had this happen but not from pregnancy just adulthood

When I was younger I could watch anything now I get horrible nightmares (even worse when pregnant)

I won't watch anything in the evening that gives me weird dreams. Sometimes even shows like CSI give me nightmares

I hate it!!!

odd dreams and nightmares are common during pregnancy because of the crazy hormones!

Yeah I read that your REM sleep is often effected when your pregnant. I had to research that a while back when I was getting terrible dreams out of nowhere about loosing family members and other crazy stuff.

You know maybe that is it, just apart of my growing up process. I will be 20 this year and I have had to make a great change in my life since I am pregnant and all lol. But yeah me being pregnant makes me dream of anything I fell asleep to really. It mixes all the movies or shows together. Sometimes scary sometimes not.
