Party bags/favours for boys

posted 19th Feb
So I've always gone crazy with party bags, I love making awesome ones   I've always done one 'gender specific' thing and a bunch of neutral things(playdoh, candy.crayons etc) and this year is no different, the girl thing is a hair clip to match the theme as always but I'm stuck on what to give the boys! I usually give a hot wheels car but I don't feel it's 'enough' this year.

Any suggestions?

It's a ballerina party if it makes a difference and the other items so far are-
Boys-
Blue & green balloons
Playdoh
Blue & green ballet slipper crayons
Blue ballerina lollipops
Party blower
Little bag of candy

Girls-
Pink & yellow balloons
Playdoh
Pink & yellow ballet slipper crayons
Pink ballerina lollipop
Party blower
Little bag of candy
Ballet slipper hairclip

There will be more I just haven't finished them yet
Any suggestions?? TIA!!

Sunglasses, ball caps (kinda hard working with a ballerina theme, lol). If you were in the states, I'd tell you to go to the Dollar Tree or Target's dollar bin but IDK if you have that.

The bow ties are a good idea! Just do them on a single prong clip, so they can clip them on their shirts. Or those little sunnies you can get? Boy party bags are hard!

US or not I wouldn't go to a dollar store... We have similar shops but I refuse to put cheap plastic crap in party bags, just seems so pointless when it's gonna get thrown out.

The bow ties are a good idea!! Just need to find someone who can make them haha, all my craft supplies are in the shed

Rude. It's not always crap. I had a John Deere party for my son and got straw farmers hats and garden trowels, and I've gotten decent sunglasses. Whatever you want to do, obviously, but it was a suggestion and they certainly have things less "crappy" than playdoh.

Don't see how I was rude, I was pretty polite about it.

Don't know what you guys have there, but the plastic stuff in our 'dollar stores' is cheap that no-body will keep, I'm not wasting money on that and that's my choice as its MY money.

oh no here at dollar tree they have name brand stuff and lots of new as seen on tv crap too for a buck. you get hot wheels cars in 3 packs as well as crayola games puzzles and stuff. some is cheap of course for a buck other stuff is pretty decent! like their craola brand piggy banks that sell for 4.99 at walmart are 1.00 there .
