Asthma... Hay fever?
posted 19th Feb
I've had a chronic cough/ wheezing on and off for going on 4 years now and other allergy symptoms.
I got a chest X-ray done last year which only found small nodules.
FBE showed neutropenia, I hadn't been sick and wasn't on medication.
I got a blood allergy test that came back positive for dust and pollen. Also a bad uti I have no symptoms for besides occasional flank pain so I'm on antibiotics now.
I'm wondering how I'd find out if I have hay fever or asthma?
The only 'attack' type episodes I have is during/ending exercise and reaction from perfumes, I get really tight in the chest and shortness of breath.
Ventilin has cleared my symptoms before, I've only used ventilin a couple of times (wasn't mine) but it cleared my wheeze, cough and I could breathe easier.
Is there an asthma test thats safe to do during pregnancy? Or do they all involve medication?
Does it just sound like hay fever?
Thanks, any input would be appreciated!
