Your opinion about one thing that I do with my child does not put me in the category of being a bad mother.   My son had all the love in the world. I'm sure there's other people that you could be judging for actual issues... So if you stool feel that's what you need to do with your time, go do it elsewhere else!

Well, I would argue that my 16 year old has grown up just fine despite the fact that I've never raised a hand to her.

Guess my method has been proven to be very successful.

You are absolutly correct. That is YOUR opinion. My opinion is that smacking a kid on the hand when they are not even one IS an 'actual issue'!
