so my csection incision was bleeding. Im 2wks pp as of tomorrow. went to er. they stuck gauze on it said it wasnt that bad and sent me home. that was at 2pm. incision is still bleeding so I called the oncall obgyn since mine is out of town for a week. she said to keep putting gauze on it that it will be okay since the er dr. did nothing and to call her and see her sometime this week. basically it will clear up on its own. has this happened to anyone?

Yup, it happened to me the day I came home from having my 3 year old. It happened because I was ignoring the weight and activity restrictions they had warned me of.
Basically, keeping gauze on it, it all you CAN do. It's not like you're coming open, it's just bleeding some. No big deal - promise. Just watch for signs of infection, because with an open wound of any type, that is the biggest cause for concern.

what kind of bleeding? like bright red? pink?
if it's bright red I'd go back to the E.R.
but if it's just a light pink it will stop on it's on probably.
My incision popped open a bit at 1 week PP. They just put sutures on it and I had to keep gauze there. It drained for 3 weeks!!! It was a pinkish color.
Aslong as the incision is not bright red, smelly or extremely sore it's probably normal!

I has internal bleeding... They had to go back in and fix it.
Is your stomach hard or discolored.

nope my stomach is not hard or discolored ... its not bright pink or anything ... doesnt hurt, no fever, no cramping - the weird thing I did have cramping before this and now I'm fine.

Mine got harder day by day and turned an Orange tint.
It could just be slow healing. Sorry not much help.
But if that happens, feel dizzy, sick, heart racing etc. Go to the hospital.

it's probably normal drainage but if it turns a weird color, warm, smelly or red go back to the E.R.
