discharge question.....TMI&PICS warning!!!

posted 18th Feb
So, Saturday night I was sent to labor and delivery for contractions they showed up on the monitor and I was told that they were from dehydration but my cervix was checked and I was at a one. I drank over a liter of water and have been drinking a lot of water since, and i'm still cramping. This morning I went to the rest room and this CAME OUT OF MY VAGINA.
It is bigger than it looks in the picture and it was only the one chunk, so far today I've had three like this. Is this my mucus plug? Am I possibly in early labor? I go to O.B. tomorrow and the cramping contractions have become irregular.

No I don't think so. I get that every few weeks.

Your mucus plug will have a bit of blood

Actually that's what my mucus plug normally looks like. It's sortof rubber cement consistancy. It's also very different from my normal discharge. I mean there will be a huge booger looking thing and I'll have to wipe and wipe and wipe until it's gone. It doesn't always have blood in it.

For me it normally means my cervix is changing. I normally start dilating around 34 weeks. I also end up hanging out around 2 to 3 cm's dilated for up to a month and half afterwards.

That's your bloody show, and that looks like your mucus plug but it can regenerate

lol I have mucus like that sometimes when I'm not pregnant. Not sure what it's from but I don't think it's your mucus plug

I got it when I wasn't pregnant... I'm 13 weeks now and still get it... I just assume its a different consistency of mucus.
